Hi Everyone!
It's been such a long time since I've posted! I've been very busy with custom jewelry orders, you can check out photos in my Metalwork set on Flickr, just click on the photo above to visit!
I have been enjoying my journey into working with stone and metal, still learning new skills and experimenting with ideas! I plan to start updating my Blog frequently again, not only bringing photos and links to new items, but to share some interesting jewelry sites, as I come across them; and now and then a tutorial, or other educational topic.
I have also started a brand new FaceBook FAN page for Simply Adorning, I'd love it if you would go to my page and hit the "Like" button. You will then receive updates as they happen. When I get a few more followers, I am going to start some promotions on my FAN page that won't be found anywhere else!
Till next time, Take Care!
Laura

ReplyDeleteWhoops - I didn't do so well "keeping up" with my blog from the last entry - I'm working on some things to post now. I hope to post a lot more frequently now that I'm moved and settled in!! ;)
Hi
ReplyDeleteYour creations are really extraordinary. Which kind of techniques do you use ? Is that metal clay or something else ?
I really love what you are doing. I want to purchase something on your shop since a very long time but I'm still unable to choose between all your jewels.

ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the wonderful comments! I am working mostly in metal fabrication (sterling and fine silver) with a variety of gemstones. About 75% of my work has been custom - my clients choose the stone(s) from pictures of my collection and let me know what type of setting they are interested in, usually based on previous work, then I get to create!
Thx again!
Laura
